The Heart Of This Magazine

There is practical help for those that want to like themselves better, feel more confident in all their endeavors, be free of depressed moods, and have less stress. Even more. My magazine teaches how to stop engaging in self-defeating behaviors, avoid being victimized by heartless people, while learning how to deal effectively with insensitive societal institutions, all of which can only lead to an unhappier life.

The Crystal Ball To A Happier Life!

By reason of your coming to this magazine I can safely assume you have an interest in seeking a happier life.  To your good fortune, I have no intentions of disappointing you. Traditional personal improvement books and magazine articles have by their formats an impersonal relationship with their readers. The writers have no opportunity to hear what your specific wishes are for a happier life. In my book Taming Your Inner & Outer Bullies: Confronting Life’s Stressors And Winning, I maintain a keen focus on individual needs and desires and that’s why I included a full range of topics that addresses what most people generally wish help with: relationships, careers, marriage, and child rearing. You may be more familiar with self help books and magazine articles that tend to departmentalize human psychology and focus ond must dominate cultures since the dawn of our species. By my demystifying human psychology, you wione topic of interest. The difference between my information and the others is its basic premise. I’m not a self help writer. I don’t expect that you’ll solve your problems on your own. We’re working together. And for your benefit I invested thousands of hours of research, preparation, and painstaking writing so that all of you could have an effective and comprehensive guide for a happier life that my private patients, students and parents at school, colleagues, family, friends, and most definitely me, have benefited from. Fortunately, in an interactive magazine our relationship isn’t as impersonal. Your thoughts, feelings, and opinions can be expressed and shared with me and others. You can react to the content, discuss your personal issues, or add to the knowledge base. You will quickly notice that there is a major difference between my education for you and other magazines. Basically, they tend to focus on one or two issues, ignoring all the major influences that impact on unhappiness. From my research and clinical work I made a dramatic discovery concerning our species. There is a consistency in human nature that begins in the mind, is reflected in relationships, and you’ll know yourself better than ever before, and you will know others better than they know themselves. You will understand the human species in relation to the natural world, as well as have familiarity with the formidable impediments that thwart happier lives. Despite my wish to offer you a quick route to a happier life there are no magic words that will do that. Pep talks are worthless. Inane suggestions that ignore human nature and individuality never work. And let me assure you, I’m not in the fooling people business. My integrity is most dear to me. The truth matters. Accuracy matters.

Unhappiness And Dysfunctional Humans

Throughout my book and this magazine you’ll come to understand it doesn’t always take years in therapy to change your life for the better. Dark unconscious conflicts do not have you hopelessly chained to misery. You’re not a walking personality disorder. A Freudian neurosis hasn’t entered your brain cells like a computer virus and destroyed your ability for a happier life, or worse—created a dysfunctional human being. By far I am not the first clinician to have the insight that mental illness is an illusion—a destructive fallacy that was created by physicians in earlier centuries who equated misunderstood unusual human behavior with diseases like cancer or diabetes (and that was an improvement from the previous beliefs of demonic possession).

Please read the FIRST CHAPTER for a more detailed explanation on how my book and myself can be of help to you.
